Description
Main ingredient is pork. Made in Pascoag, Rhode Island. Available in five varieties. Abruzzese Sweet Salami is made in the style of Abruzzo, the region east of Rome located on the Adriatic Sea. The region is known for its ample use of chile pepper. The Soppressata (Italian for "compressed pork") is made hot or sweet. Soppressata is a salame made from pork meat and fat, flavored with various spices and lemon peel. Soppressata is aged for at least 40 days. Daniele Baby Genoa Salami and Piccolo Salami are also now available. Weights are approximate.
