Description
This table was built about 1910 by the H. J. Sullivan Co. It is mostly constructed of Oak with figured walnut veneers. The rail assembly is also the same except for the railcap that is constructed of chestnut. Chestnut was widely used for railcaps during this time as it has a high durability and this part of the table is susceptable to much abuse on any pool table.
The stretcher part of the frame has many intricate inlays of rosewood, curly maple, ebony and ash.
This table spent over 14 years in storage at Capitol Billiards before we were able to allocate the funds to completely restore this beautiful antique.
This table was completely refinished in 1995 and 1996 by Capitol Billiards.
The slates are in exceptional condition and everything is new from cushions to pocket leather. Manufacturer: H. J. Sullivan Company
